Having future in-laws meet can often be a pretty awkward experience, especially when the two sets of parents reside on opposite sides of the political fence. Few meetings could be more awkward than the ones in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, a two-act musical being presented by Imagine Productions at Wall Street Nightclub in downtown Columbus.

For those outside of theatrical circles, La Cage Aux Folles might be best known as the basis for the hit movie The Birdcage. While that's all well and good, the musical has been a major force in the theater world since it premiered in 1983, when it won a number of Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The show has been revived on Broadway twice and both revivals won a Tony Award for Best Revival. It's the only show to ever win that award twice. On the surface, it seems like the perfect show to end a successful summer at Theater By the Sea in Matunuck.

Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) will conclude the blockbuster 2013 season with a glamorous production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, a 'modern family' musical. This sparkling all new production will be on stage through Sunday, September 1, 2013. Check out a first look below!
