The Woodlawn Theatre is proud to announce that Sharon Needles, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4, will star as Dr. Frank N Furter in 'The Rocky Horror Show' this October.

Greg Hinojosa, Woodlawn's Artistic Director, has been collaborating with Miss Needles to create an experience unlike any Rocky production to date. "The show is an institution among hundreds of iconic cult fans, no doubt, with characters that will forever be embedded in our hearts," says Mr. Hinojosa, "but we're taking you into an entirely new dimension of science fiction. Think of it as futuristic industrial grunge."

Sharon Needles is absolutely thrilled to take on the challenge of Dr. Frank N Furter. "All joking aside," she admitted, "I've wanted to play this role since I was a child. This truly is like a dream come true for me." She teasingly said that time is no longer hers after winning RuPaul's Drag Race as touring has now taken control of her life, but she wants nothing more than perfection, of course, and promises to dazzle the audience like no other punk-rock diva can do.

The show is set to open October 4th, with performances running every weekend through October 27. Tickets are $35 for general admission. VIP tickets are $50 which will seat in the first four rows and includes a special meet and greet with Miss Needles. Upstairs balcony tickets are $25 and will be available only through the Box Office.
